Shield of God Faith Statement:

 

- We believe there is only one true God.

- We believe in the Trinity: One God existing in three persons Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

- We believe God the Father is perfect in love, wisdom and power. 

- We believe that He hears and answers our prayers. 

- God the Father is merciful and compassionate.

- We believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God. 

- We believe that He came to earth to die for our sins and redeem us because God desires to have relationship with people.​

- We believe in the power of the Holy Spirit: the gifts of the Spirit are presently operating to bring 

   healing and transformation to God’s people.

- We believe the Bible is the word of God inspired by the Holy Spirit. 

- We believe that the Old and New Testaments are complete and without error.

- We believe all men are sinners by nature and must repent of their sins and confess Jesus Christ is Lord.

- We believe that Jesus ordained the church to baptize believes by immersion in water and to follow the 

   example of the Lord’s Supper by partaking in communion open to all believers.

- We believe that the church is the Bride of Christ. 

- We believe that Jesus will visibly return to earth to establish His Kingdom and end suffering.
